If your Flow internet is slow, the cause is usually WiFi, peak-hour congestion, an old router, or a device limit — not the Flow line itself. Run a wired speed test first: if it is fast, the problem is between your router and your device.

Test wired before you blame Flow

Plug a laptop into the Flow router with an Ethernet cable and run the test. Fast wired but slow WiFi means the fix is your WiFi setup, not your plan.

Common reasons Flow feels slow

Router placement (in a cabinet, on the floor, behind the TV), the 2.4 GHz band over distance, evening congestion, a VPN, and older devices that cannot reach high speeds are the usual suspects. Test at a quiet hour and a busy one to compare.

When to contact Flow

If a wired test at an off-peak time is still far below your plan, that is worth reporting. Bring your wired result and the times you tested.
